Remember this September

Professor Michael King

This is in memory of Michael who started the NTM Patient UK group. NTM is a rare infection associated with PPFE which is rare type of PF. Michael lived with PPFE for over 10 years and eventually succumbed to it on the 10th September 2021. A late diagnosis was made in the last few months of his life, as few clinicians had even heard of the illness. Through Action PF UK others will be more aware of the symptoms and disease trajectory, empowering them to manage their care pathway.
